October 3rd – The Leadership Fairfield Alumni Group will have a booth at the business expo. Please let us know if you would like to volunteer that afternoon.
Please bring canned goods for One Way Farm to the next meeting on October 25th. The City of Fairfield is doing a food drive for One Way Farm for Make a Difference Day. Make A Difference Day is October
27th and will be held at the City Building. We would love your support.
October 20th – We have tentatively scheduled the morning to work on a Habitat House in Hamilton. Please let us know if you are interested.
November 3rd – RASKALS – Volunteers are invited to meet at 8:00 am at the Community Arts Center for coffee and donuts before spreading out into the community to help our local Senior Citizens.
The Leadership Fairfield Alumni group is going to put together a business basket for the Community Foundations Annual Meeting on November 13th. Donations are due to the Chamber office by Tuesday, November 6th. Suggested items are: calendars, Staples gift card, Starbucks gift card, etc.
November 17th – Volunteers are needed for the YMCA Turkey Trot at Waterworks Park. Volunteers are needed for registration and to hand on waters along the route. Registration begins at 7:30 am.
Adopt a Roadway – this requires the group to clean one of our City’s roadways 6 times a year. Safety vests and garbage bags are provided by the City. We are considering two roadways: Winton Road between Hennessey and John Gray or River Road from One Way Farm to Lake Circle Drive. Please call 896-8411 with your vote.
