The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce offers a variety of committees and groups in which members can participate. While some are on-going, others are seasonal, only meeting as needed to coordinate and plan special projects and events. Involvement in any of the following groups can make members’ investments in the Chamber much more rewarding:

Ambassadors: The Chamber’s goodwill committee, this elite group of members attends area ribbon-cuttings and grand openings.

Bi-Monthly Networking Session: This group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month in the Chamber offices. The meeting begins at noon and runs approximately 1 hour. With 40+ people in attendance, this group provides a tremendous networking opportunity.

Annual Dinner Committee: This group meets in late winter and early spring each year to plan, organize, and coordinate the Chamber’s Annual dinner event. With over 300 people in attendance each year, this is a pivotal event.

Diplomats Committee:  This committee focuses on retention.  Diplomats call current members and answer their questions about Chamber benefits and events.  The Diplomats also welcomes new members.

Golf Outing Committee: Meeting in the spring of each year, this group plans the Chamber’s annual sports event. Volunteers who serve on this committee help secure sponsorships, prizes, and most importantly, the players who make this the most fun event of the year.

Business Showcase Committee: With attendance of over 3,000 people, Fairfield Chamber’s Business Showcase is by far Butler County’s largest. These tireless volunteers help to organize the entire event, from selling sponsorships, to securing speakers and vendors, to decorating the tables for the luncheon. With such a large event, there is plenty to do. This committee begins meeting in early summer.

Leadership Fairfield: Sponsored jointly by the City of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, this event helps develop today’s business men and women into tomorrow’s Fairfield leaders. This year-long class meets one day a month, beginning in September and ending when participants “graduate” in May.

For information on how you can join any of these exciting groups, contact the chamber at 881-5500.
